DON’T RUN FROM THE FIGHT!
(The Challenges You Face Are Only Temporary)
When God asks you to do something or go in a certain direction, it doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be adversaries in your path. He already knows you can overcome any obstacle that lies in your way.
TO THE BIBLE 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
There are people give who give up as soon as they encounter challenges while in the pursuit of their dreams. They figure the reason they face those challenges is because God doesn’t want them to attain those dreams. Such people remind me of the Israelites when Moses was leading them out of Egypt into the Promised Land. God knew the challenges they would face on the way; He knew the Egyptian army was going to come after them and they’d be hemmed in by the Red Sea.
When this happened, there didn’t seem to be any escape route. The people panicked and concluded that God brought them into the situation to destroy them. But God knew exactly what to do. He told Moses to stretch his hands over the sea and divide it. Right before their eyes, the Red Sea parted and they passed on dry land to the other side. But the Egyptian army that came charging in after them was swallowed up in the sea.
You must make up your mind that, no matter what difficulty you face, you would neither give up nor give in. The challenges on your way of success are merely a mirage, so don’t run from them! Just because you’re facing the “Red Sea” and the enemy is bearing down on you doesn’t mean God didn’t send you. God has promised to be there for you (Hebrews 13:5), and you’ll certainly come out on the other side, singing songs of victory!
Dear Father, I’m greatly inspired by your Word today. My heart is set on your dream for my life, and I refuse to give it up in the face of life’s challenges, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Say these words: “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world; I have overcome the world with its systems. I’ve got staying power and I win in every situation.”
