The Word of God gives you everything you need health, joy, wealth, prosperity, grace, wisdom..

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

POWER THROUGH WORD;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

(Romans 10:9-10).

It’s not enough to know the Word of God in your heart; you have to speak it forth as well—that’s how it works! God instructed Joshua, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8). The original Hebrew rendering of the word “meditate” is “hagah,” which means to ponder, roar, imagine, murmur, mutter, speak, talk, or utter. It’s much more than thinking the Word; you have to voice it!

The opening verse shows us that speaking out what you believe is a fundamental spiritual principle without which the gift of salvation can’t be received. The salvation package is delivered upon satisfying two conditions: the first is “believing,” while the second is the “confession” of that which you’ve believed. Both work together for salvation to be complete. In the same way, to live the glorious life in Christ, where you enjoy all the benefits of salvation, you must keep the Word in your mouth always. You must believe and speak. Some people find themselves in unpleasant situations and say, “I believe the Word of God, but I don’t know why things aren’t working out right for me.” Believing the Word alone will not change anything, until you start using your mouth right, by speaking what you believe.

Your mouth was given to you to create your future and your victorious life. Your life goes in the direction of your confession. You have to say what you want in life. Even now, speak the Word about your family, job, business, academics, health, etc. Release the dynamic power to effect the changes you desire by speaking forth faith-filled words.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES 3RD JANUARY, 2021, THE WORD AND YOUR EXPERIENCE

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME;

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12).

There’re people who say they pray and don’t receive answers. Some others lament that they gave so much to God, but never received much in return. There’re also those who say, “I’ve been speaking the Word over my body for a long time, yet I’m sick.” If you’ve found yourself in a similar situation, here’s something you should know: Your experience should never affect your confidence in the Word. The Word never fails.

The Word of God is truth, irrespective of what your experiences might be. Just because it’s been several days or months and there’s still no change as you expect doesn’t mean the Word isn’t working. You must understand that Christian growth and maturity is progressive and there’s a fight of faith.

There’s also the issue of your limited knowledge of the Word. Perhaps you don’t know enough on the subject you’re dealing with. Therefore, what you’re supposed to do is to keep feeding on the Word and exercising your faith. It’s a training.

If, for example, at a certain time in your life, it took you a while to use your faith to accomplish a certain goal, don’t be discouraged. Rather, grow your faith to the level where it can produce that same result anytime you want it! If it took you three months the first time, tell yourself, “Next time, I’ll get it in a week or even less.” Then, begin to study and meditate on the Word with your new goal in focus.

That’s how you train yourself in the Word and in the faith life; you don’t give up! You stand your ground, confident that God’s Word will prevail over circumstances and put you over all the time.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the veracity of your Word. Irrespective of the adversities I face, I stay on your Word! Every unfavourable situation aligns with my nature as an associate of the God-kind. I keep my eyes on the Word, and I win always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING

Rhapsody of Realities 1st January, 2021

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things (Matthew 6:31-32).

Rhapsody of Realities 1st January, 2021

Why should anyone read this and still fret about anything in life? The one who has told you not to worry about tomorrow is the owner of tomorrow; He’s aware that everything you require for an excellent life has already been made available. So, refuse to be burdened with stress and anxiety.

Don’t worry about your work, family, business, finances, or anything. Worry is fear in disguise. It’s fear of negative possibilities; the imminence of unwanted outcomes. Fear attracts its images. If you keep worrying about getting sick, for example, soon enough, you’ll fall sick.

The cure for worrying is living in God’s Word. Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28- 30). Philippians 4:6 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Act on the Word. Rather than worry, receive whatever you require, and live in the consciousness of Christ’s victory, grace and abundant provisions. Anything short of a life of absolute joy and fulfilment in Christ Jesus isn’t God’s best for you.

Hebrews 4:3 says, “For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said….” God finished all His works from the foundation of the world before He made man and rested from His works. That’s the same life He’s given us; a life free of struggles.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for dispelling every form of anxiety in my heart through the Word. I have already overcome Satan, the world and every crisis, being conscious that the greater One lives in me. I live in the peace and provisions of Christ. You’ve perfected all that concerns me. The peace of God which passes all understanding mantles my heart and mind, in Christ Jesus. Amen.
