HAVE A RICHER FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

TO THE BIBLE: 2 Corinthians 13:14 AMP

“The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).”

LET’S TALK

As Christians, we’ve been called to enjoy a rich fellowship and relationship with the Holy Spirit. For some people, all they know about Him is that He’s the One who makes them speak in other tongues and fall under the power. They fail to realise that there’s more to Him than just speaking in tongues. Others even think He’s some kind of wind, smoke or a bird, but He’s none of those things!

He’s a person, and He has a divine ministry in your life. The Lord Jesus described Him thus: “…the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you” (John 14:26 AMP). These represent the nature of the Holy Spirit’s ministry, and blessings that come from a rich fellowship with Him.

He’s willing to have special times with you when you’re alone. He wants to talk to you while you study your Bible, and help you pray when you don’t know what to say. So, learn to commune with Him. Open up God’s Word before you and study it, and soon enough you’ll hear His voice. He’ll speak to your spirit, and launch you into an even richer and more exciting journey with Him as He guides and teaches you daily. Let the Holy Spirit counsel you; let Him help you whenever you require help, and strengthen you when you feel weak. Listen to Him today and yield your whole being to Him.

Pray

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your precious Holy Spirit in me. He helps, strengthens, counsels, and intercedes for me. He’s also my advocate and standby. I give Him first place in my life, and receive all the wonderful blessings He’s brought to all who receive Him. Amen.

Act

Talk to the Holy Spirit; tell Him anything you would tell a close friend. Spend time praying in the Spirit and studying your Bible. Surely, you will hear His voice speaking to you.
