PARTAKE OF DIVINITY
(Living The Supernatural Life)
TO THE BIBLE: 2 Peter 1:3-4
“…His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature….”
When you were born a son or daughter of God through the new birth, you received the divine and transcendent life in Christ Jesus; a life of glory, virtue, and excellence. God gave you a quality of life that’s different from what the rest of the world has. Living this life ensures a daily experience of the miraculous and walk in the supernatural, just as Jesus had. Though you’re in the world, you’re not of the world, we’re born of the Spirit.
As Christians, we’re partakers of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4); as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Therefore, like Him, we’re called to live perpetually in the supernatural, through the power of the Holy Spirit. There’s an ability working in you, and that ability is supernatural! That means your physical ability should no longer dictate or determine how much you can do; no limitations for you anymore! Recall how Samson defeated one thousand trained soldiers of war with the jawbone of an ass. The Spirit of God came on him, and he was divinely enabled for the supernatural. With us, it’s even better, because the Holy Spirit lives in us. That means our potentials are limitless!
The Bible says, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God” (2 Corinthians 3:5). Take advantage of the divine sufficiency of God that’s at work in you; you don’t have any excuse but to live the triumphant life, because Jesus did everything that was required for you to live in the supernatural every day!
Dear Father, I thank you for making me a champion and a victor forever! My spirit, soul, and body are under the dominion of your Word. I manifest the Christ-life, reigning and ruling over circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
