TO THE BIBLE: Hosea 4:6

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….”

Imagine this: a young country boy wins a ticket for an all-expense-paid, 2-week holiday in the big city. But on the flight to and from the city, he refuses the food and drinks that are offered. Throughout his stay, he never orders any food from the hotel restaurant or touches the drinks and snacks in the fridge in his hotel room. Whenever he was hungry, he would go over to the vending machine, slot in a few coins and buy some biscuits. He wasn’t aware that everything, including meals, had been taken care of in his ticket; he thought he’d have to pay for them.

There’re too many people like this young man in the world today who suffer for nothing. And the reason isn’t farfetched—it’s ignorance! The truth, however, is that if you’re born of God you don’t have to suffer. The day you became a Christian, you answered the call to an extraordinary life of success, victory, honour, dignity, and excellence. You must let this reality take over your mind-set and your whole being.

This is the reason you must diligently study the Word to acquire knowledge of who you are and what belongs to you in Christ Jesus, and function accordingly. It makes no difference the challenges you face, live confidently at all times with the consciousness that you were not created for failure, but for the manifestation of the glory of God. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, my life today is the manifestation of your greatness and your glory that’s in my spirit. I greatly rejoice and thank you for calling me to a life of glory, honour, dignity and excellence. I function from a position of victory and rest, unperturbed by the negative circumstances of life, because all things are mine, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
