Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!

TO THE BIBLE: Philippians 4:4 AMP

“Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!”

LET’S TALK

The Bible says to count it all joy when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the trial of your faith works patience (James 1:2-3). This means even when things don’t seem to go the way you want, rejoice all the same! Do you know why you can rejoice when you’re facing a temptation? It’s because there’s no temptation that comes to you that you’re unable to handle. 1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us this: “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

God has made you all-sufficient (2 Corinthians 3:15). He’s made you complete in Him, and you have His strength and ability in you. You don’t walk on your own anymore. The Lord Jesus said He’s with you always, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). Rejoice even if you don’t feel like it.

When everything looks bleak and everywhere seems dry, that’s when to sing and shout God’s praise. That’s the way to transform the situation. Laugh and shout, “Glory, Hallelujah! I’ve got the victory!”
