There’s something about the Word of God that’s beyond science, nature, and the senses!

(The Life That’s Beyond The Senses And Science)

TO THE BIBLE: Mark 16:17-18

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Joan was someone to wonder at: she was well-known by everyone in her class as the best student in every subject. And whenever she noticed someone sick around her, she would ask to pray for that person, then place her hands on them, and command the sickness to leave, and, no matter what it was, it left! She truly lived an extraordinary life that others found difficult to grasp.

There’s more to life than science and all its discoveries. Science is what man has been able to get from the effective use of his physical senses; but there’s a realm beyond the senses. And as new creations in Christ Jesus, we’re born into this realm and we rule the world through faith! For example, we “lay our hands” on the sick and they recover. This happens because we’re like Jesus Christ who had the ability to do the impossible while He walked the earth. When He stepped in, things changed. When He said, “Receive your sight,” the man who was born blind began to see. When He said, “Rise up and walk,” the lame got up to run.

There’s something about the Word of God that’s beyond science, nature, and the senses! Everyone should get hold of this truth. This is the essence of living by the Word of God. The Word of God was given to us, not only to inform us, and educate us about spiritual things, but for us to use, and to live the supernatural life. It’s a life beyond this world.
