LIVE KINGLY

(Conduct Yourself In Royal Manner)

TO THE BIBLE: Revelation 1:5-6

“And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

LET’S TALK

Do you know you’re a king? Yes, you are! Remember the Bible calls Jesus the King of kings (Revelation 17:14); this means He’s the mighty King, and we’re kings under Him. Halleluiah! God ordained you to rule and reign as a king in this life, and He expects you to live your life every day as one. But for you to do so you’ve got to have the consciousness of royalty. “How do you mean?” you may ask.

Understand that kings conduct themselves in a certain manner. They don’t beg, and they act with authority. It’s the same for you as a child of God. You can exercise authority and dominion over the devil and the negative forces of darkness. You can change any negative situation and put the devil to flight. How? With your words. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power….” This means your words are backed with power to change any negative situation.

Therefore, be bold to speak in line with the Word of God; be bold to make decrees, for the Bible says you shall decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you (Job 22:28). What you say will come to pass. With this in mind, refuse to see yourself as a helpless person. Rather, learn to walk, talk, pray, and live as a king, because that’s who God has made you.

Pray

Heavenly Father, I thank you for making me a king and teaching me to live as one. I walk in the consciousness of this knowledge – that I can change any negative situation. My words are backed with power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
